I’m Lauren, a Philadelphia-based landscape architect. I cultivate my passion for high-performance landscapes through master planning, site design, and innovation at Studio Sustena. Since 2005, I contributed to the design of more than $100M of landscapes, including more than 70 landscapes on structure, and founded three companies that connect people to nature. My work—which integrates fringe solutions into professional practice—has been recognized through 12 professional awards and shared through my 30+ publications.

Collaborating with creative professionals from other disciplines energizes me. Outside of work, hiking my Blue Heeler, paddling, and trail riding bring me great joy. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been a total nature junkie.
